Q. Do accessibility overlay widgets make a site ADA compliant?
Overlays adjust how a site is presented, but they can't repair the structure, forms, or interaction patterns underneath, and those are what WCAG conformance measures. Lasting accessibility comes from remediation in the site itself, which is why our work happens at the code and content level.
Q. What does an ADA compliant website actually require?
There's no ADA technical spec for websites; courts and regulators consistently point to WCAG, currently 2.1 AA as the common benchmark. That covers perceivable content, operable interfaces, understandable behavior, and robust code.
Q. How long does remediation take?
Depends on the site's condition. It ranges from weeks for a well-built site with fixable gaps to a phased program for large or legacy properties. The audit gives you a prioritized, estimated roadmap.
Q. We're planning a redesign anyway. Should we remediate now or wait?
